I am passionate about my salvation. Having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ has radically changed my life. I love to teach - it is a gift of mine and I delight to use it...especially in a Christian environment. Being and remaining physically fit for life is important to me - I see myself as a steward of this body and the activities I enjoy the most require being physically fit. Lifelong learning is also important to me; I cannot imagine a day in which I do not learn something. "Bored" is a word that is not in my vocabulary. I have an active mind that I feed with books, music, conversation, and reflection.
I enjoy hiking in National Parks and State Parks. I regularly walk at least fifteen miles a week even if it is indoors on my treadmill in the winter. I enjoy camping out for a night or two. Seeing new things is a blast - especially if there is something to be learned;I have traveled extensively in every state with the exception of OR, WA, and AK.Reading has always been a passion for me. I read for pleasure, for my profession, and for intellectual stimulation.Eating out is ok, but I do not live to eat. I enjoy gardening in the summertime and just being out in the sunshine.I can't live w/o physical challenges and outdoor adventures.
If I have a say in the matter, I would choose not to spend the rest of my years on earth alone - without a companion. Life is much more rewarding, fun, exciting, and pleasurable when you share it with someone. I think God had a good point when He said, "It is not good that man is alone." A solitary life may be "ok" for awhile but, I truly believe with all my heart that "two are better than one."

Întotdeauna am vrut să încerc
Some serious white water rafting...only have tried the Snake River in WY so far. Gosh, I also want to hike in many, many more National and State Parks, climb a "fourteener" in CO, hike in Death Valley, drink ale in a pub in Scotland, go on a Missons trip to Africa, teach an adult to read...I have a huge list for this...

Hiking or just long walks outdoors, camping, horseback riding, softball, canoeing...just most outdoor activities. Good movies, a nice candlelit meal, good conversation, Christian concerts, reading to myself or aloud to someone else, travel (I have explored all but three states and I have lived in more than a dozen)...
