I am a man with the love of the Lord in his heart. I spent 21 years in the military and retired with the knowledge that I served my country with honor, dignity, and respect. My love for my daughter is tremendous and I am a big time car lover. You can call me a romantic and I thrive in that setting.
The attributes of confidence are totally different from the ugliness of arrogance. Christ gives us many examples as to how to treat each other and how to make relationships work. He comes first. Then all things can be added to you, if He allows it. What I know today I hope will pale in comparision as to what I will know a year from now. Wisdom and Spiritual growth are paramount in being better not bitter.
My failures have been hurtful however God has seen to it that they were not done in vain.
What would life be if we wake up one day and find that it is gone? That we lived in fear and isolation instead of risking it all and challenging ourselves to love. I know the hurt of heart break and I also know the beauty of love found. The woman I am asking for will need to understand that our lives lived outside the blessing of God isnt a life worth living.
She also needs to know that I will love her like Christ loves His Church and gives his life for it.

Smart, witty, and someone who knows that her beauty and who she is comes from God. That the man in her life is the actual voice that echos the voice of acceptance and valiation that she has heard from within her heart that God placed there. Someone who wants to be loved and pampered. Being able to be strong knowing that she can do most things and allows someone to do these things for her. Not all the time but enough to allow him to be a part of her life. One who likes conversation about the simple nothings of life to the deep things that makes us who we are. Someone who takes keeping the body pure and in shape is important and is willing to get that way if not. I want the kindness and softness of her touch and the blaze of her passion that ignites the fire within. To know that she is loved and adored by a Godly man to share life with. The good, bad and ugly are all part of it and being close to one another under the protection of God Himself.
