I am a professional saxophone player and have also taught sax, clarinet and flute for longer than I care to remember! At the moment, though, I am a single Mum to a gorgeous little girl so she is my main focus and my absolute priority, as she should be. My 19 year old nephew lives with me too. He's a good lad and great with my little girl.

I was brought up as a Christian but left it all behind as a teenager, only to return to it a year ago. I am slowly but surely growing in faith and it might be nice to find someone who is at a similar stage in their faith to me, though this is not essential.

I love being outside; picnics, (usually of the spontaneous variety!) walks, bike rides etc. I love getting stuck into the gardening, especially if it's a 'project'! You can't beat a good day out at the seaside, especially with a little one. I love doing stuff like collecting pretty stones and shells then cementing them into a step in the garden. (Ok, if I'm honest, I haven't got round to the cementing bit yet, but I will do). I enjoy cooking but prefer not to follow a recipe. Where's the creativity in that?! I will put off the ironing until desperate. What a waste of life ironing is!

I really like lengthening those Summer evenings with friends by getting the chiminea going and putting the fairy lights/candles on.
