Early 60's Christian Widow looking for a new best friend. I lost my husband and best friend 2 summers ago and really miss the fun and companionship. Ready to start over, hopefully with a widower who understands how great a long term relationship can be. I still work part-time but enjoy traveling. My ideal mate would be an animal lover who likes travel, bible study & family. I have 1 adult son at home who is in a long term relationship of his own. I'm on eBay a lot, selling for myself, other family members, and a local charity. Family means a great deal to me, but my seems to be dwindling. Young ones moving away and others passing on. I was born in southern California and intend to spend the rest of my life here. I've traveled quite a bit with my late husband and never found another place that I'd rather live. I go to a tiny churh that meets in a local school. Though I am caucasian, our church membership is mostly Chinese and Indonesian. Wonderful, loving and supporting fellow Christians. I like supporting local charities, shelters and members on the mission field. What else would you like to know? Feel free to ask.

Meeting at a restaurant that you both agree on. But there's no need to endure a meal with someone that doesn't interest you at all. Each person should be honest enough to say that they would prefer not to continue the date if they aren't comfortable with the match.

To figure out what God put me on earth do do! I seem to have a knack for being available to take care of family members later in life. So when my husband contracted terminal cancer, there was no thought to having him anywhere but at home with me. I'm searching for something meaningful to do with the rest of my life. Trying hard to be a really good Christian and missing the mark more often than not.

Како замишљам добру забаву

Dinner & a walk on the beach or the shoreline. I live near a theater arts center and have season tickets, so I really enjoy attending. I love to travel and visit new places, even if it is just for a couple of days. I like anything that has to do with the ocean & cannot imagine not being near enough to visit. Conversation with friends.

I like tranquility of mind and spirit so I tend to shy away from people with a lot of drama in their lives. I think God has given me peace and I try my darndest to promote it in the people around me. That is not to say that I don't like to do exciting things. To me, travel is exciting--trying new foods--being around nature & animals. Looking for a pen-pal? friend? relationship? Someone to go to restaurants, movies & yes, I like to go to casinos occasionally.
