Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als

I tend to be friendly and usually extravert, and believe in fun and happiness, but also like to think deeply about things that matter, and contribute to issues I consider important - all I guess based on the value of every individual. I hang on to the belief that the hard times make us strong, and that no matter how bad the situation God has put some good in there somewhere!

I have many hobbies and interests - reading - mostly non-fiction but I love literature and a good easy read-, gardening, social and family history, the history of religion - especially in the UK, parish churches, stained glass windows, art history, children's book illustrators. A good meal out, or a hot chocolate! ( And being tempted by a cream scone!) Oh and I'm rather fond of Charlie Brown and Snoopy!

I adore the countryside and cannot imagine living away from it and so not being able to take a minute to watch a bird or admire a flower or listen to the sound of water flowing down a weir.

I take an active part in church life, trying to make practical evangelism and pastoring part of my everyday life. By aiming to be a good friend really!

I would like to meet someone who shares my life values, can enjoy some of my hobbies and introduce me to some of his own. Someone to share the good times and the not-so good. and who puts God first in his life.

And - with all that serious stuff - to enjoy the lighter things of life too!
