Gypsy Heart with a Nelipot Perspective

My goal in life is to follow God's lead. It isn't always as easy as it sounds. I will go where He sends me, I will do what He asks me, I have dedicated my life to His mission. I recently graduated as a Medical Missionary from Weimar's NEWSTART Global HEALTH program. I am a photography addict, an odd cookie & vegetarian working towards a total plant-based diet. I am a Personal Health Coach and a disciple of Christ.
I'm hoping to meet the man God has chosen for me. I don't know what he will look like, what kind of personality he has, or even where he'll be from... but I do know that he will have a heart fully dedicated to God, and will want to be about his Father's work. I pray for him daily...
*SIDE-NOTE: I sign on to this site a lot on my PHONE. I can't chat on my phone, so if you try to CHAT with me and I DON'T RESPOND, it is because I have no idea you're trying to chat. :P*

My Beliefs:

*God is the only constant in life...
*Photography is it's own language
*Toe socks are awesome
*A Vegetarian/vegan lifestyle is sometimes difficult, but OH SO WORTH IT!
*Writing is the perfect outlet
*Family time is very important
*God is in control
*Reading is key to learning & understanding
*Friends are family
*Life DID come with an instruction manual...The Bible
*Prayer works
*The chicken didn't willingly cross the road, he was forced
*Not many people actually understand proper nutrition
*Exercise isn't my favorite, but the benefits afterward are worth it as well. Need some motivation in this area though. I tend to just pick up a book!
*Josh Groban has a beautiful voice
*There is always hope, and you're NEVER too dirty for God to clean up
*D.I.Y Crafts are where it's at

My Quirks:

*Coloring calms my mind and restores my focus
*I enjoy embroidery, yeah... like, with a needle and everything
*Quotes, quotes, and more quotes
*Church is a big part of my life
*Some might say I'm "dog obsessed"
*Raised Rottweilers throughout my younger years
*Don't like onions (allergic) or mushrooms
*Have never been interested in coffee (praise God!)
*Don't have much of a sweet tooth
*Love to sing, but can't play any instruments
*Don't like early morning work-outs, even though they really set the day
*Enjoy classical music
*Favorite colors are royal purple, olive green, burned orange, and other earth tones
*Own a guitar, recorder, and harmonica... but as previously stated, can't play any of them
*Gypsy at heart
*I make soap. That's right... soap...(I'm still learning in this area, but planning on going fully self sufficient with such things as soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, and all my beauty products. Bring it on!)

Well, honestly I don't really believe in dating. I am more of a courtship type of gal. I've been studying the issue of relationships based on Ellen White's counsel and have really began to understand where I was going wrong with the "dating" process. Friends first, if it is meant to be, God will take care of the rest. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. Now, if I were to pick a good way to hang out while we get to know each other better... I'd say a "first meeting" could most easily be done doing something fun & creative. Painting pottery at a local shop, taking pictures on a small hike, playing board games with a group of friends...

Olen aina halunnut kokeilla

Hmmm.... there aren't too many things out there that I want to try. I am not a big adrenaline junky. I don't want to sky dive, I don't want to bungee jump. I have never really liked anything that could easily end in death. I have wanted to roll around in one of those giant balls that they have over in Europe though.... That looks like fun. haha...
I do want to travel. I haven't had the opportunity to do much of that in my life... but I'd really enjoy seeing the world.

My idea of fun is spending time with people I love. It doesn't really matter what we are doing, just being together can be a hoot!
If we WERE out to do something "fun", then I'd say photography, reading, writing, singing, watching a good christian movie (there aren't many out there), or even shopping. (Yes... I may not be your "typical" woman, but I do enjoy shopping)

Mitä etsit?

I am hoping to be found by the kind of man that is seeking a Christ-like character. Someone that puts God first, others second, and themselves last. I know we are all still struggling along in this life... and no one is perfect. I do believe however that God has made someone that perfectly fits you. So why not ask Him to lead you to them?
A sense of humor is important to me, as well as knowing when to be serious. I need someone kind and understanding. Who is patient and chooses their words carefully when in the midst of a confrontation. I get along with just about every personality type... but I don't like being made to feel stupid or less than by a "know-it-all" personality.
Friends first, God will open whatever doors need opened, and close the ones that need closed. :)
